Hey, My name is Kelsey and I write fantasy stories. At the moment I'm writing something that's turned out to be much longer than I thought it would be. I have a favorite short story I wrote as a creative writing assignment last year called Legend of the Shadowlings and so far quite a few people like it so I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. My longer story that currently has no name is a work in progress. I am working on finding a balance between school, homework, and writing my story. So far I haven't found that balance but it's not even October yet so we'll see how things go later on.

I find that writing fantasy stories is something that I could do forever. I've always been completely fascinated with things like sword fighting, dragons, magic, honor and valour...those kinds of things. When I write I get wrapped up in my own world that I'm creating and wish I could be there. I like the idea of fair, hand-to-hand combat fights where you use skill and wit instead of shooting a gun at the back of someone's head. So many people today get so wrapped up in daily life that they never seem to care much about honor or courtesy and personally I think the world could use more than just that. And now that's I'm going off on a random tangent, I'll switch subjects so I don't talk your ears off.

I plan on going to college after I graduate in June although probably not right away. I'll probably end up getting a job for a while, a place to live, and then take required courses at the local community college. I plan on someday studying astronomy, stars have fascinated me since I can remember.

I love to travel! I live in a small boring town in the middle of nowhere and get really bored living here. I get really restless at times and have been known to walk or disappear somewhere for hours on end although I haven't done that in a really long time. I want to live somewhere in the country where I can go outside at night and see more stars than you could ever see in or near the city.

If you end up going to my sad little website and reading my story called 'Discoveries', please be aware of the fact that it is my rough draft and a lot of it is very different now. I haven't had the chance or means of fixing it all so bear with me for a while.

A side note: I am completely insane and have waaaaay too much fun with life sometimes. Other times I can be incredibly depressed but eh, tis part of life :P
